Ongoing tracking of COVID-19 data by TMC

Texas Medical Center has been working diligently with its member institutions, as well as city and county officials to closely monitor the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Relying on both data and medical expertise, TMC is working with its partners to develop an appropriate action plan to keeping citizens informed and prepared with up-to-date resources, guidelines, and ways to be vigilant when it comes to personal health protocol. 
Ongoing tracking of COVID-19 data by TMC shows decreases in hospitalizations, positivity rate and reproduction rate.  Trends indicate that efforts at containment (masking, social distancing, limited gatherings, etc.) are having a positive impact. However, national trends show that continuing to follow these steps is critical to keeping COVID-19 in check.
